Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms

Interesting to see what the shifts will be in 2016. Importantly for Australia my view is that Qlikview, Microstrategy and Tableau will gain even greater market traction whilst Microsoft just keeps on expanding its reach. SAP Business Objects, Oracle OBIEE and IBM Cognos are the big talking points. SAP BO justs seems to keep going in huge SAP legacy accounts whilst IBM Cognos with it’s new release is facing a make or break year as I have not recently seen much of an¬†impression within the market from Cognos. All I hear is OBIEE is clunky and not making friends and influencing people.
